Charity Fitness Fundraiser For Martlets Hospice

Duncan Brodie and Hove gym Active4Less Hove are joining forces to organise a Charity Fitness Fundraiser from 10 am to 1pm on Sunday 28 October 2012 to raise funds for the Martlets Hospice.

Duncan’s motivation to raise funds for Cancer related charities is as a result of his sister being diagnosed and subsequently losing her fight against lung cancer in 2005 aged just 48. Having previously completed 10k runs and a half marathon he wanted to do something a bit different where more people could be involved and more funds raised as a result.

During the morning of the event those participating will have the opportunity to join up to 4 classes

• Uber Circuits
• Zumba
• Aerobics
• Spin

They will also be able to take part in up 4 gym challenges

1 mile Running Challenge: the fastest time for 1 mile wins.

3 minute Rowing Challenge: person covering the furthest distance in 3 minutes wins.

2 minute Spin Bike Challenge: the furthest distance in two minutes wins

1 minute Strongman Challenge: Who can do the most seated shoulder presses in 60 seconds?
