Alzheimer's Society Brighton Memory Walk 22 September

The Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk is taking place on Saturday 22nd September 2012.
Registration is at Hove Lagoon, BN3 4LX from 10am and the walk will start at 11am.

The walk is a 6 mile circular walk along the seafront and passes the Pier, the new Brighton Wheel and finishes at Hove Lagoon. There is an alternative 2 mile walk for those who are concerned about the distance!

Memory walks are taking place all over England and it is an opportunity to raise money to help fight dementia. The money raised with help the Alzheimer’s Society to run services in our community. The more people who take part the more money is raised and the bigger difference the society will make to people’s lives.
£35 could provide a one-hour befriending session
£50 could support 5 people attend a one hour session at a Dementia Café
£200 could help run on session of Singing for the Brain enabling people with dementia and their carers to enjoy structured, community singing.
